DORF for sure looks most promising! Thank you again for your timely updates and support on RTS indie devs! as for sales, I have released the "nuke them all" major update this week with new units and new gameplay features and it goes on sale tomorrow for the steam tower defense festival. I'm also not really interested in Stormgate, but I'm really into Tempest Rising and a few other games, like Godworn and DORF.

Thank you Peter keep up the good work! I dont wanna say that but imo stormgate and dorf lack something, cant name it but maybe like soul. I cant get hyped for them though i want to... On the other hand Sanctuary, tempest rising and broken arrow on my radar and without technical issues they can easily be successful.

Stormgate, Zerospace, and the other "heavy hitters" from teams that have the budget and experience to make a massively successful game are indeed important. But it's almost like they're so important that they're less interesting than the scrappy smaller teams and indies that are working on titles that are hopefully also good. Stormgate and Zerospace in particular are also both trying to be "Starcraft 3", whereas smaller teams and indies are usually trying to be more different. I'm still very interested in the "big" games, it's just that they're expected to be good and probably break even at minimum. In the end, at least one of Stormgate and Zerospace will be considered the Starcraft 3 replacement, and it's possible it will be both. Meanwhile, there's more of a "tension" when it comes to the smaller teams and indies that are taking proportionately bigger risks both design wise and the fact that they're making RTSs now when everyone else is also making RTSs. In this environment some of them will release great games that succeed despite the odds and others will release cult classics that get loving hour long retrospectives and might not ever break even. So all the "little guys" are a little more exciting to talk about for that reason. (Also there's an RTS that's literally called Lil Guys, and that's fun in itself.)
