I feel like fnaf world was the moment where Scott needed to give to some characters they officials names since he maybe don't wanted fnaf world to be confusing whith the names and decided to probably choose the name given by the fans to make it easier

Surprised you didn't mention Funtime Foxy, Scott naming 2 similar characters the exact same name and the fanbase unanimously agreed that was stupid and refused to call the FNaF 2 one that. Originally called Toy Foxy or New Foxy in the FNaF 2 game files, the name for Mangle before being Mangle was usually assumed to be Toy Foxy, some people would also just call them Pre-Mangle or Fixed Mangle, then FNaF World came out and officially named them Funtime Foxy right before SL called another character by that name. Officially some merch still calls them Funtime Foxy iirc.

Btw MXES isn't that character's actual name, just the system that it's tied to. While I'm not sure what it's called in the game files, the subtitles adress it as "Anomaly".

Freakshow Baby and Salvaged Springtrap sounds way better than Scrapbaby and Scraptrap imo

ah you forgot about BB! Unless it's somewhere in fnaf 2's game files, and im pretty sure its not, "Balloon Boy" was also just a fan name originally. There's a good chance thats what BB stood for in Scott's mind, but honestly I don't even know the first time he's called "Balloon Boy" officially
