I am loving all your drives through and around LA.. Not living there anymore and I miss it.. I used to work on Vermont Ave. and 11th.. Took the Metro link and Red line to Vermont everyday for six years... Just keep on driving Freewayjim... and Thanks much!

Nice, Jim. LA is always a worthy subject. Can I suggest a trip down the LA River? It's actually quite a short distance and I'm sure the contrast between the source and the mouth would make for a very interesting video. I guess it's illegal to drive in the channel but if you could manage it...

Great tour! Some insights: 1) You probably didn't take the clear lane because you were kind of in the "awe" factor of being in the city. 2) Interesting characters who hang out underground, including the boy bad just standing in the median for no good reason. I'd like to see them do that in Chicago! 3) Those neighborhoods change quick!

That bridge at the end of the video is the very same bridge in one "Harlem Nights" scene that was shot there, when Quick gets shot by that crying man! LOL Lord have mercy.

I knew this was going to be an awesome drive, just by the title, and then you played (strawberry letter #23), that killed it!! Superb, I'll have to watch this one a few more times to drink in the sights, so much was happening for me to notice in one pass, (GVJ), all the way!!!

Nice ride! I always liked downtown LA from seeing it on TV over the years to seeing it in videos now- very nice ride- very nice song to go with it! I saw downtown LA during the day when I was there in 1990- great to see it all lit up at night- always did like seeing cities lit up at night!
