  • This is why I videotape myself opening any returns so they can't claim they sent the right item when its clear they didnt

    "There are some characters who abuse this system," is an understatement. I stopped selling on ebay 12 years ago because every. single. thing. I sold was having the buyer trying to scam me by claiming it didn't work or wanting me to refund them and let them keep the item. At one point, the last straw, really; I sold two matched Radeon video cards and the buyer claimed they didn't work and wanted a full refund - and without permission sent back ONE card. Just one...but wanted the refund for both. I had to get eBay involved and they found in my favor at least. I'm not sure what gene it is that some people have that makes them so dishonest but I don't have it. I've never figured out how to be like that to other people.

  • Imagine going through the trouble of sending back a 10 dollar knife.
  • Customer spends and hour and $5 in postage to return a small $9 knife he ordered....You can just tell customer has an exciting amazing life with not a lot of spare time to waste on petty issues.
  • You're such a pro at this. You have admirable self-control and a killer poker face. The cons don't detect any anger or judgment from you. 👍
  • Until you do this day in and day out, you don't realize how much work it actually is. Especially with the Internet allowing folks to much better determine items they sell or donate. Ebay needs to support these sellers against these petty scam artist buyers.
  • Hahaha, cats love boxes until we suggest they go in and all the sudden they're like, "What are you doing?! Don't you know i'm claustrophobic?!"

    I stopped using ebay because I sold breakers to a guy. The breakers were 1 day past the arrival date (not sure why). He put in ebay that he didn't receive them on time. So ebay told me to refund him while he still has my breakers. So I'm out the breakers and the money. People are learning how to scam ebay better and ebay just falls for it

  • Just found your show, totally dig it man. Having been in retail for over 50 years and just retired, watching your show helps to remind me why I don’t wanna go back into retail! LOL You handle the customers great and I’ve already learned a few things that I thought I already knew from you! Too bad that I won’t be able to put it to work as I’m not going back into retail!
