Why most people struggle when it comes to losing weight or getting rid of bad habits? Is there a chance to get unstuck from unnecessary fallbacks and permanently change our bad habits? You become what you think about! Most powerful thing I’ve learned when I was homeless at the age of 11! I then became the first division 1 football player ever out of my school, graduated on a full scholarship , and now own a gym in Westchester New York!

"How you do anything is how you do everything."  - a little gem almost hidden in the talk

"100% commitment is easier than 98% commitment" I'm really relate to this because I always feel guilty every single time to do it. I COMMIT TO QUIT DRINKING 100%.

Honesty, TED blurring out his shirt was the best advertising he could have hoped for... made us all a lot more curious trying to figure out what it said then I even googled it and ended up finding his course. If it been a clear shirt without blurring I would have NEVER noticed and definitely wouldn’t have stumbled onto his website. Too funny.

Mental tug-of-war: been struggling with that my whole life, why did I choose to commit 98% when I can commit 100%? Life-changing ted-talk! Thank you so much.

    1. Think ahead: Envision yourself how you want to be and commit to that vision. How you see yourself is how you act. Behave according to the circumstances you hope to have. 2. Be 100 percent committed to your goal. This eliminates mental fatigue you go through when u have to make a decision.

Have always loved that Oliver Wendell Holmes quote: "The mind stretched by a new experience can never go back to it's former dimensions."

"The nature of addiction is that you can't stop thinking about it" - Wow, I've never thought to classify it that way. That makes a huge difference!

I've known Benjamin since he was born and - he's an epic human. He puts his money where his mouth is and practices what he preaches in every way. And he studies and researches relentlessly because he wants to help people realize their potential. I admit I am a little biased but it's well deserved in this case.

This talk was the simplest but I can already tell this will enhance my way of life. Will repeat this talk daily until I tinker with my vision no more. Had to pause this video like 20 times, fixing my ideas and coming up with others while also cementing habits I’d like to have implemented continuously until the day of my death. Let’s go!!!!!

Amazing how you find these things right when you need them. I grieved for my former self because I knew that person had to go away in order for me to grow. Two months later im 55 lbs lighter with no signs of stopping or slowing down after fully committing to ketogenic one meal per day eating. Moving towards my new self daily. What a powerful message. Pass it on. It can be done. It is possible if you decide to move towards it with conscious fidelity.

Once I made a decision, I never thought about it again - Such a powerful quote
