The easiest thing to do is to skip breakfast. First meal at around 2pm or even 3pm. Many times I am OMAD. Other times only 2 meals. Never more than 2 meals. I gave up that 3rd meal years ago.
  • I agree, i started watching him 5 months ago and i was ready to attack my eating and have now lost 42 pounds and all my inflamation is gone and i feel 15 years younger

Dr Pradip is fantastic. I'm a cardiology nurse in Europe and when I suggested we should educate patients about healthy, back to traditional food and fasting everyone was looking at me like I was crazy.
  • While fasting, you can drink HOT water, which relaxes your tummy. It's like eating soup. It helps reducing the hunger sensation, when compared to drinking cold water.
  • As a registered nurse, I want to thank you both. The world needs more physicians like you!
  • I’m a 58 year old woman and fasting allowed me to lose weight and kept it of!

Love Dr Jamnadas. He has completely changed the way I eat and how I view food. It was one of his talks I first came across and my mind was blown. Through his videos, the YouTube algorithm brought me to this podcast series which has helped me fine-tune my lifestyle immensely. Both my parents have passed away, in their early 60s, my mum from cancer (she also had early onset dementia) and my dad from a myriad of illnesses- undiagnosed diabetes (where he had to have his feet amputated but the doctors claimed he was still not diabetic- only for it to end up on his death certificate), heart disease, end stage renal failure to name a few. I'm only 25, but I feel like I need to start now in order to avoid these illnesses that cost my parents their lives so early on.

1.) He’s very intelligent 2.) Reminds me of Papa Smurf 3.) Very handsome… loving that beard 4.) I must think Papa Smurf is handsome? 🤔
  • @indiabliss
He’s so right. Don’t eat processed foods. It’s not as difficult as you think
  • I love Ketovore/Carnivore way of eating. Got off my blood pressure meds, took away inflammation, jeans fit better, anxiety gone, depression gone, I can focus to read a book, & I have more energy to be a wife and mom. Feeling much younger at age 44 than I did in my 30’s.

I’m on my 26th hour of fasting, if anybody gives a hoot

I have been "intermittent fasting" basically since I am 12 years old. I have always hated breakfast with a passion and when I was olf enough to be able to skip it, I did. Everyone was mad at me, and told me skipping breakfast is basically worse than smoking, but I didn't care, it felt right to me. So I have been doing something like 16/8 for most of my life. I am 40 now and I look like 30, if even. Maybe lucky genes, but maybe it's also related to the fasting....
  • My wife started with intermittent fasting and then started cutting things out of her diet until she got to a mostly keto diet. I started with carb cutting, working into a keto diet, then fasted two days and picked up IF from there. We both have had great results and had very minimal withdrawals. Either way you do it, don’t jump straight in. Your metabolism is a large ship and it takes time, patience, and the correct inputs to change its direction and time to gain momentum.
  • I live in Los Angeles and I traveled to Florida to see Dr Jamnadas for my cardiology health ♥️ I am grateful to God that I found him on you tube 🙏 he is amazing 🙏 full of divine wisdom full of grace🙏♥️🙏
  • I'm prediabetic and a couple months ago quit drinking sugar pop. I used to drink a lot of it, then I changed to diet, now no pop. I drink catbonated water, water, coffee, tea and some milk during my eating window only. I have been doing 18/6 fasts and a couple weeks ago I did a 42 hours fast and today I'm on my 27 hours of my current fast and plan to at least fast another 10-12 hours. I feel so much better when fasting. I feel so hopeful, that I will be able to significantly improve my health. I'm so grateful for these doctors and others on You Tube that inspire me and give me hope that I have not had in a long time.
  • Wow.. working as a nurse I never seen such a wonderful doctor who tells every possibilities of these preventable diseases... am motivated to change... taking few baby steps now.,, thank you doctor
  • The first water fasting i did when i was 60 and the 2nd one when i was 64 following the book gave away from our church. And again i did…. wow!!!! the 2nd ones i gain so much benefits, thank You Jesus, cus this time woth prayers. I gain sooo much self control towards everything in my life like eating fav foods, died of my emotions, anger or sex or hunger or sad and so easy to turn into positive energies, and clearing your mind, died off to your flesh! Hallelujah….. and now am 70 still i join 7 days or 3 days or 10 days fasting. I gain energy so much ❤️🙏🏿
  • For myself I have found that the desire to eat has nothing to do with hunger; it's more about a restless mouth and a need for oral stimulation. Given that, I found two things that are very helpful for staying on a schedule of intermittent fasting. The first is sugarless chewing gum, which satisfies the oral craving. The second is flossing my teeth when I'm tempted to snack; that totally does away with the desire to eat.
