I work in Japan, they really do deductions in salary for coming in late. There was this one time I was late for 1 minute. 1 MINUTE. They made me fill a form. So I wrote in there my supposed time for work (say 7:30) and the one minute late. So (7:30~7:31), my manager corrected me that if I got late even just for a minute it's already considered 30mins, or they have to record it as 30mins... They insisted that I should correct it and make it 7:30~8:00 Gosh. I got a deduction in my salary that month for that. How about all those times I stayed longer to finish my work? Japanese Society, yaay! If you work in Japan, get to work exactly on time, and leave on time. You got this 🙆🏻‍
