Yeah, me too. My book (Davis) about acculturation says, “a person who is acculturated accepts both his own and the new culture, adopting elements of each.” And about assimilation it says, “assimilation is complete when the newcomer is fully merged into the dominant cultural group.” These concepts are complicated. Every time I think I understand, I still miss the questions.

i just started watching your videos not long ago, and love them! they have helped tremendously because i like knowing rationales and why something is incorrect. Im currently a nursing student and have a test soon over religion and culture.. this video was great but it was mainly over culture.. is there a video about religion?

Your topic on elimination of urinary and bowel and prioritization really helped on my second exam, I was able to get a B because I listened to your channel! I am a first-semester nursing student and taking NURS113 BUT still struggling in that class! I passed my second exam because of you! at the 5:16 mark you explained why 4 is not the correct answer but I am still having difficulty on why that is not correct because that was my initial answer. I thought interpreters are always the correct answer.
