Day 5 of Cheap Charlie life daily vlogging and traveling around Asia. I’ve lived in a fan room in Pattaya Thailand for the last two months. I share my experiences and whether or not I think it is a good idea for you.

  • Definitely would be cool if you find these low cost aircon rooms and make videos about them. Cheers.
  • Hey CC, YouTube throws up multiple suggested video thumbnails on the screen, 20 seconds before a video ends. This is obscuring your on-screen text at the end of your videos. I'd suggest a 20 second buffer of black screen at the end of each video, so any preceding text is clearly visible.
  • I remember in April the heat was overwhelming! Like the fact you steer a minimalist in the correct direction. 😊
  • @DEnZel94
    Very transparent breakdown, thanks!
  • I really like your room for the price you can’t beat it , with the windows and having a breeze would be everything to me, BIG THUMBS UP CC 👍❤️💃🏼
  • Great video Keep up the Daily vlogs :) Cosistency and your youtube channel will grow again:)
  • I think going to India is one of the few things that could save your channel. South East Asia has been done to death.
  • Need to do some loom reviews long stay prices etc Charlie They was good to watch 👍
  • Hey Charlie you could ziptie filter cloth to the window musquito things, to prevent dust from coming in.
  • back home from bangkok , cheap charlie bar, why not buy a used portable ac unit that has a hose hooked up to the window could be around 2000 baht used for emergency sure your elec will go higher but u will no suffer, nice meeting you
  • I could not stay in Thailand without air-con, even in the cool season (daytime). Condo rentals have a separate electric charge, so expense of a room will vary alot depending on amount of air-con use. For me, it would be alot. I stay in a room with air-con and bathroom, smart-tv (& bed obv) in Pattaya for 500baht a day because I'm never there more than 10-12 days at a time. I understood at that place I stay they'dd let me have that room for 14000baht ($420) for the month. That's almost 5x the cost of your room of course. I'm sure you can get a cheaper deal for an air-con room somewhere else in Pattaya. I was told of a place where you can rent a condo in Jomtien for 7000b a month, electric charge separate - so for me it might be 9,500Baht ($285 a month, so nearly $200 more than you are paying for that room per month).
  • First time seeing one of your videos. Where would you start to search/browse for a fair priced short term (max 1 month) rented BKK-condo (furnished) before flying to TH?

How is there no comments on this video?? Anyways, thanks for the information on these types of rooms. Very valuable information. A real budget spot with a pool bar/restaurant, and excellent location, is the Sutus Court building 5. I was paying $10 a night with daily house cleaning, air conditioning, big fridge, and a fantastic laundry lady right out in front of Sutus Court 1(down the alley).
