How to fix CD player "Error 43" permanently on a Hyundai stereo 2007-2010

With Hyundai car stereos, Error 43 is common. It's caused by the CD player motor not being able to spin. This is caused by either the spindles seizing, the motor seizing, or both.

    great video an very appreciated. My unit had been problematic for months, worked ok some days but not others. I finally took it apart, found nothing I could diagnose and put it back together. Amazingly, it then worked for about 2 days before going back to the error message. Was going to price a replacement unit but by chance came across this detailed fix. I'm totally grateful.

    actually, mine never showed error 43, it instead constantly showed "CD Loading."My memory just kicked in as to why I took the unit out awhile back. Id forced a Cd in and couldn't get it back out. So that's actually why I removed the unit, to remove the CD. Had it apart but couldn't repair anything due to lack of knowledge....... But now I know how to fix it for 25 bucks!! thanks again for the video

    Hello, I have that same vehicle but currently the radio aux is not working, I want to know if you have any manual on how to make the connection or at least do it by the color of the cables (from radio to aux)

    I have a parasitic draw that i found is my 6 disc CD changer. The motor continues trying to eject cds even over night with key off, killing my battery is a few hours. There are 2 (two) fuses that control the radio but I cant isolate just the CD player and eliminate it, or can I somehow?

    Wow people actually still use the CD player lol. I have a hyundai van that my grandmother bought new in 2008 its an 07 to move all the grand kids around me and brothers lol also cousins. I'm 30 now she just gave the van to me she got a new car and I don't know if the CD player actually works I know the radio does. This will come in handy though if it dosnt.
