I like that their definition of being home alone is literally just their mom not being home

I love how Anais has slowly evolved from being the family's sole voice of reason, to the voice of marginally-less chaos.

I love how they actually let Anais be a Sibling and have fun and not just do the whole "I'm smarter than my brothers" trope

This show is responsible for my humor as an almost adult

love how if darwin or anais gets bullied gumball just f-ing loses it.
  • It was actually great character development on Anais’ part. She started off being mainly bratty and annoyed at her brothers antics, not to mention trying to kill them when she was 0 years old lmao. But as the show went on, she started to relax and have more fun hanging out with her brothers, getting involved in their chaotic antics.
  • They are the single most accurate representation of siblings in modern media

TAWOG is one of those few shows which actually gets how siblings are. it's like having braincells that are always bickering but once they align they're a menace to society

Gumball: the voice of chaos Darwin: the voice of niceness Anais: the only normal one

2:05 DYING THIS PART THEY DID it NO QUESTION. I would def have them on my zombie apocalypse team they won’t hesitate for nothing. 👏🏽
  • I like how they can be seen as tropes such as “the immature and dim witted older brother” “the kind and sensible younger brother/best friend” and “the misunderstood little sister who’s impressively more competent than her family” but instead of having the same sibling arguments all the time and forcing them to get along for an episode thing that most animated families do, they actually try to help each other out and get along pretty regularly, often working together

This is a perfect representation of me and my siblings being home alone, when the parents are here we do our own thing and argue a bunch, but when they are gone we will actually hang out and argue noticeably less

0:38 I imagine them thinking ‘We’re you affected by that?’
