What I like about this mission is when Belikov is speaking its in English meaning their speaking in their native Russian, but when it switches character, Belikov is speaking fluent Russian in a vice verse.

90% certain that the "No Russia" event from the OG COD back in the day was inspired by this to send a message that they knew about the CIA getting involved so they just brought it all to light. Also in the real world back in reality, not this is 1-to-1 but the whole recent terrorist attack in Russia on the music concert reminded me of this and it wouldn't surprise me at all if the CIA was involved in trying to start WW3 that way.
