We kicked things off at the Bonneville Salt Flats, where the vast white landscapes stretched endlessly into the horizon. It felt like driving on another planet, or on the iced out lakes back home in Maine!
Then, we tested the waters, quite literally, by floating in the Great Salt Lake. It’s not every day you get to float with such ease.
After that was the start of our adrenaline filled adventures, as we hit the track at Utah Motorsports Campus. Go-karting there was as thrilling as it sounds, especially with the mountains as our backdrop.
The next morning, we had a nice change of pace at Park City with its charming streets and cozy spots to eat, perfect for recharging before our next adventure.
One of the most unique experiences was swimming in the Homestead Crater. Imagine floating in a natural hot spring inside a limestone cave!
Then, there was the summer bobsledding at Olympic Park—a rush like no other, speeding down the track feeling like an Olympian for a day.
Our drive along scenic Highway 189 offered some of the best views of Provo Canyon's dramatic landscape, making every mile memorable.
We wrapped up the adventure with ziplining at Zipline Utah, soaring over Deer Creek State Park and taking in the panoramic views.

As a kid our pool was in the 60's and the warmest we ever got it up to was 72, so refreshing on hot days to jump in the water.

I have so much to say!! OMG!! How can it be possible to squeeze so much curious living into just a few days! Maine coastline living teaches you about salty bodies but, really, floating - cold AND warm - and I am not familiar with anything on the eastern seaboard being so salty that it crunched when you walked on it (although it does wreck our cars!) Racetracking on any motor is Cody's happy place but I love that Jill has skills and the luge? really? But I swear, that zip line and I have a date..... by the way, I noticed Cliffie's hair cut....as always, he's the star... :finger-red-number-one: Fly ..... just fly with your arms wide open.......this is your time.

I have so many comments and questions that I don't think I can say it all. Omg! What adventurers you two are! Now I want to meet someone that will take time in an RV and go cross country with me! I thought Cody was steerng the bobsled and wondered if you had taken instructions. 😂 Jill, I can't believe you weren't screaming on the zipline. As I said, I'll probably have notes for when you get back with questions I want to ask you. Happy birthday to Jill today! I love that you too are having such a great time! Wow! That swimming in the Salt lake was so cool! Do you know, that Salt Lake City is the only capital city of a state in the US with three names?
