Everyone talkin bout when they first heard Cypress Hill. I've been a fan since Street Hoops (PS2) that released in 2002 I was about 4-5 years old and loved it ever since. Check out the soundtrack for that game alone had many great artists DMX, Master P, Method Man, Red Man,Xzibit... Changed my music forever

I guess I'm getting old lol. I'm a guitarist; primarily listen to blues/rock/metal, but i love good hip-hop like this, RA the Rugged Man, Immortal Technique, Ab-Soul, Mos, Talib Kweli, Common, Wu-Tang; you get the point! I listened to Cypress Hill and other rap artists at age 12-13 before I got into other genres. It doesn't matter how you get here, the only thing that matters is that you get here. Listen to and write music with a message, not just flexing lame anecdotes of how dope your life is, but something relatable, something real, then the message grows, eventually becoming reality. P.S. Listen to MF Doom!!!!! My favorite rapper, one of my favorite artists of all time.
