This is a meditation session on coping with physical pain. Our pain comes in many forms, whether a temporary injury or chronic condition. Keep in mind that meditation should serve as one of a number of approaches to dealing with pain, including physical therapy, natural remedies, or doctor approved medication.

Just so that you're aware, I have over three hours of streaming audio meditation sessions available to SoundCloud tier supporters on Patreon. Check out my Patreon page to learn more: www.patreon.com/mindfulpeace

Also, I just created a 12-page meditation guide that I want to be yours for FREE! Just visit my new website at www.mindfulpeacejourney.com/ and it's yours. I put a lot of work into it to make it a great resource for you, so I hope that you enjoy and find great benefit. Thanks for listening!

This session is intended to help with getting through the day, better sleep, and an overall greater sense of calm and peace. The goal is not necessarily to end the physical pain but to learn to live with it in a productive way.

BEST meditation for pain. I had a spinal cord injury years ago, leaving me in constant pain. I finally got off narcotics and heavily rely on breath work. I have done many different guided meditations for pain, and THIS is the MOST effective! Thank you SO much. What an incredible gift ❤️❤️❤️
  • This meditation has helped me so many times. I am deeply grateful to you for making and posting it. ❤

Four years ago I shared my appreciation of your meditation (under Mr Black) and I wish to do so again. Due to the prescribed pain medication I’m taking, I’ve not felt the need to do this particular meditation for sometime. I connected with it this morning (here in the UK) so completely and not only has it been beneficial therefore, but it also highlighted the value in reconnecting with/reutilising something. You may well ‘forget’ about these meditations you did so long ago, but they continue to provide for not only those who are new to them but for those of us who return to them as well. Thank you🙂

I've been having a constant headache for weeks now, and I also get severe, chronic pains in my sternum sometimes. I had a wave of pain in my sternum try to come up during the meditation but I was absolutely amazed that I was able to make it "shrink away" along with the headache. I wasn't expecting much to come out of the meditation, but holy CRAP am I ever blown away!! Thank you so much ❤

Just found this one today, very powerful! Thanks Nate! 😌
  • I've already thanked you for the benefit to me of your meditations and felt compelled to emphasise again, the full extent of my appreciation. Having just spent 6 days in hospital for treatment for my MS I cannot begin to tell you how helpful you were in facilitating my coping with the experience. I would now like to ask you to consider providing another meditation on coping with stress. I am seeing the impact on my husband of a demanding job and now his concern for me, and I'm aware of so many people I know seeming to be constantly stressed. I hope this is possible. Thanks F xxx

I found this meditation years ago and I always come back to it to center myself when I'm have a pain flare up. Thank you for helping me understand that bringing awareness to my pain is better than trying to avoid it.

I showed this to my daughter, Helen, two days ago. Twenty months after she had a major stroke, she was diagnosed with a very rare form of blood cancer for which there is no cure. She suffers greatly with bone pain and there is very little left that her medical team can do to help with her constant pain. And then you came along. She said that the peace and stillness she found in your words, your voice, were the most calming and relaxing 20 minutes she has experienced in a long time. We are both new to this but, speaking for myself, I am totally committed and listen to them all. 😊 I also found great benefit in this meditation as, although I don't suffer with physical pain, I am so screwed up in the head with depression, anxiety disorder, OCD, panic attacks, sadness etc. I was able to relate this meditation to emotional/mental pain and it worked beautifuly.. You are such a blessing and a gift, especially in the hours after midnight when I . . . (no, don't turn into a toad) . . . suffer the greatest anxiety/panic attacks, so you have become my constant nighttime companion. Can't get through a day/night without you. Totally lost for words of gratitude Love you MindfulPeace for all that you give of yourself to so many. You're the best!! 😊 💙
  • Great meditation! Lately, I have been experiencing back aches, but the meditation really helped to relieve much of that pain! Thank you.

This is a fantastic series of videos. YouTube is awash with mindfulness meditation videos and believe me I have tried most of them. The Mindfulpeace ones are by far the best in my view. The combination of great guidance, calming voice and beautiful music is as good as you could get. I have been using them for only a couple of weeks and have achieved the beginning of the results I had only dreamt about. I'm very grateful to you guys and very glad I found you! Keep up the great work.
  • Awesome ... and the sight of my pain? it pulsed in and out but it is a flower ... I didn't expect that. Amazed. Thank you.

THANK YOU so much for putting in a tremendous effort to help others, just like myself, who certainly need a deep, slow and very focused meditation to assist with pain management on top of other treatments options. Your video has just these last few days, become a staple for me to take time, slow right down and literally observe the regions of chronic and intense pain. By confronting these areas of pain, visually, within your mind, you are taking away their power which is so crucial in some basic methods of pain management. Thank you again, all my best.
  • Thank you! This really helped me today when I woke with day 3 of a headache! It really helped shrink it, and I was able to recall the image again during the afternoon when it was starting to grow. All the meditations I have listened to on your channel are excellent. Thank you for such a wonderful gift

This is my second time doing this one. it was more effective this time as I was able to focus more and was in a quiet room. The pain decreased. so that is awesome. Please make all your work available for download. I would be willing to purchase. I am serious. It is the best! your meditation videos are the ones I turn to now above any others as they are so effective and the most helpful to me. Awesome.

Thanks so much!!! I used this meditation for my procedure this week in the Hospital. It lasted about the length of this video and I was awake. I was having some pre cancerous tissue removed and I clearly remember one of the parts that hurt so badly that it brought me to a place that looked like the edge of like pride rock in the Lion King. Anyways, it was red and orange and yellow like lava and this angel, huge came down diagonally and put out its hand of light. It was warm and instantly comforting. I held on so hard to this light hand and it felt like the vibrations of a roller coaster going thru the pain. Then it got so bad that another angel came and we were all standing. Then the intense pain died down and they were gone and I was off somewhere else. I went a few places in this Meditation. I also held on to some crystals in my hand during the procedure. The Doctors were surprised of my pain tolerance and I told them what I was listening to. They thought it was a great idea and the Doc said that they listen to SleepMeditation. How wonderful that everyone is using these tools. I just wanted to say a personal thank you!
