  • I was born in Guatemala. As a kid I would always look up videos about my country and never found any. It saddened me to see no representation about our land and culture since it is such a hidden gem. 10+ years later and I am in tears seeing this video. Hearing the way you describe our country makes me emotional. Thank you!! Thank you for fulfilling my childhood dream that Guate would become known & loved worldwide and for the effort put into this super accurate and informative video! 🇬🇹🫶🏼

Beautiful documentary, you clearly did your research and narrated everything so well. As a Guatemalan-American, it's nice to see Guatemala getting more recognition other than just for it's coffee beans lol.
  • My best experience last year !!!!! Guatemala was unbelievable!!! Definitely the most underrated country in America continent!!! Definitely on my top 5 countries in the world 🌎 👌 👏
  • Thousands of people have visited Guatemala 🇬🇹 ❤️ every day. And I always have the honor to meet young visitors from United States 🇺🇸 Europe, Russia , Asia, Africa. We are so proud to be Guatemalans 🇬🇹 ❤️ Because is true a Paradise of God. The Territories of the Mayan Empire was truly 🙌 Amazingly humans. Thanks for visiting Guatemala 🇬🇹 ❤️ your new home 🏡 ❤️

Wow, what a beautiful country. I'm a Cuban born, US citizen, and I've visited this land, three times, and love it...
  • Excellent documentary! I got to travel in Guatemala over 5 years ago, and it was my first time traveling solo internationally. I went to all the towns/cities in this documentary, but I did not explore all the sites nearby. This brought back some great memories and makes me want to go back one day. I found it to be a safe place, but I was cautious and didn't do much at night unless I was with a couple people. Edit: I also found the Guatemalan people to be friendly, welcoming, and hard-working. It was impressive to see older men and women hauling large sacks on their backs in Tzununa (a small town in Lago de Atitlan), walking up steep paths. I am a young American man and I don't think a lot of young American men could do that! My Spanish was limited, but I did end up making a local friend who spoke English. Good times!
  • I am from Guatemala and a lot has changed in the 10 years since I last visited. You documentary is amazing, and very informative! Thank you!

We attended a wedding in Antigua and spent several days there. It was amazing! The most memorable trip I have ever taken, and I have traveled a lot over the years.
  • Well done Sir. I’m planning a visit to Lake Atitlan, and your documentary was exactly what I needed. Your straight to the point narration was much welcomed.
  • I love your documentary, it's thorough, informative and entertaining. I am so excited to retire in Guatemala 🤗 Thank you for sharing.
  • Very well done travel documentary, you are incredibly talented! I’ll be going to Guatemala in a week and this video was incredibly informative! Thank you!
  • I especially enjoyed the coverage of Lake Atitlan. It's been years since I was there but I recognized it immediately.

I was born in Guatemala but was brought to the US as lil girl and I just went back in Feb of 2023. I was afraid at first but now I regret not ever going back sooner. I loved it, the City, Antigua, Casa del Mundo in Lake Atitlan, the food, the sights, just everything about it. I rented a vehicle for my stay and between the rental car and the gas, I spent less than $500. I only filled up once right before turning the car in which was insane considering I drove from the city to Lake Atitlan and back. The colors are so bright and just felt so relaxed. I am ready to go back.
  • Le plus beau pays du monde. Et que dire des habitants.juste merveilleux. Sans aucune hésitation mon pays favori .
  • This is my next goal. As a first time traveler, I went to Cancun Mexico last year, and it was beautiful. Everyone warned me about crime and all, but I've found crime in the US as well, so whatever. Old ladies do fine in Mexico, even the young guys trying to look rough wanted to be kind to the old abuela, so I would recommend it to retirees. Currently saving up to go to Guatemala, se ve hermosa....o...hermoso. Love.
  • Muy lindo vid, saludos de un argentino a nuestros hermanos guatemaltecos saludos
  • yea Guatemala is a beautiful country is called the Switzerland of America❤
