  • Came back to this after 2 years now back when I worked in collision repair, for 10 years wet sanding cars by hand in 40°F weather, I finally left my job to do my dream and become a hydroelectric plant electrician and with hardwork become a supervisor in the next 10 years. Not that anyone would care but I felt like coming back and saying my thanks for posting this when I needed it.

When I first ran across this video I was in a shelter with my three children, I was so depressed and felt like giving up…. I would binge watch this video, like les brown lived in my head rent free for months and not even six months later I moved into my own apartment, I moved on and haven’t looked back since … my message to anyone who’s reading my testimony is don’t stop… believe in yourself and the minute you get to your goals don’t forget to celebrate … be grateful and keep on pushing to the next version of yourself. Life is one obstacle after the next, in the end celebrate the little stuff and always have faith. Things get better and I love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤

  • 1:42 He was referring to Brian Tracy, who used the word 'crisis.' 8:00 Door to door sales. Powerful story. 12:40 Develop the habit of giving more than what you're paid for. Develop the habit of developing standards that others will be measured by. Do not go where the path may lead, but go where there's no path and leave a trail. 13:29 Where I am at I am going to do the best I can with what I've got, because that is an expression of who I am. If you get into the habit of just being mediocre, it will become a part of your consciousness. If you get in the habit of giving less than you have in yourself to give, it will begin to damage you psychologically. And so you want to set some high standards for yourself. 14:00 Part of feeding that hunger is developing a sense of urgency. 16:19 Honor yourself as your word. Don't give your word out lightly. When you throw your word out there and you don't honor it, it makes a statement about you. Decide to maintain a sense of integrity with yourself — that if I speak it, I'm going to live it — it's who I am. Because I want my life to reflect my words, and honoring who I am and what I express. 23:20 The power to hold on in spite of everything, the power to endure — this is the winner's quality. The hunger, the ability to face defeat again and again without giving up. When you're hungry you don't care about the facts, you don't care about the odds. 25:15 If you want something, you've got to become relentless. You've got to become resourceful. You've got to learn how to become creative. You've got to be so relentless that regardless of what comes down the pike — that you're always looking for a way to get over, always looking for a way to break through, always looking for a way that you can win, always looking for a way that you can strike a telling blow.

I lost my business then my boss died in a fire. Followed that with losing my house. Everything is a major struggle but: "it's not over until I win"
  • This man changed my life ! Started my first business while listening to him when I was dead, broke and didn’t have anything and use his words of encouragement to take that leap of faith. Eight years later, I have a successful business and starting a second one. Thanks Les.
  • You gotta be Hungry 1. Work on Yourself 2. It takes Courage to ACT 3. Develop a sense of Urgency 4. Become Single Minded 5. Do it massively 6. Be Relentless 7. Prepare Yourself " Hold the Vision"
  • Dear beautiful you, I know you are struggling at the moment. Let me tell you remember that this time shall soon pass. As you know deep within yourself nothing lasts forever. Dont be so hard on yourself. You have so many good qualities within yourself. Think about all the compliments you have received from others. Its time to start believing in them. They are true learn to accept them. Start to love YOU. You are beautiful your creator created you beautiful always remember that. You have so much untapped potential within yourself. The world is waiting on your gifts. Stay true to you.

"Lions don't have to roar. There is power in silence, confidence, and persistence. Those who work don't talk, and those who talk don't work. Handle your business. Measure your efforts by results. Focus your time, energy, and activity on mastering and executing a plan." -Les Brown
