Good tips. I personally will go heavily in favor for PC things I really want if cards I don't want are involved. Kind of funny though, sometimes the guy who takes more cards over the one big card actually wins in the long run with modern-ultra and modern trades. Making trading connections is great. I've even had relationships where a buddy needs something right now but doesn't have the funds, and I'd just hook him up and let him return the favor in the future if I'm in need. Or just pay me back when you can type deal. I also like the trading similar cards for similar, if possible, with current players. Like a superstar Topps Black parallel RC for a different superstar low #d parallel RC for example. Acuna for Acuna, Trout for Trout, etc is always cool too. Hard to go wrong there for either trader. I actually hope to do that one day with the doubles I already have. Got some trade bait to tease us with?

Awesome Vid Josh! Learned a lot from this. 1) Always put cash into a trade. 2) Ask them how much they’re into the card for. 3) Put cash on the table for them to see. 4) Keep a few cards in your back pocket to sweeten the deal at the end. 5) Establish a relationship for future deals/trades. 6) Do a smaller trade first to feel out how they negotiate and operate. I specifically like 2,3,4 those are great advantages to have as the buyer trying to trade up imo!
