When there's no dry tinder in the woods consider using parts of your t-shirt to Ferro Rod ignite. It will burn plenty hot enough to dry out and ignite the wettest kindling. Then make use of that emergency fire by using the same 100% cotton t-shirt to cook up some char cloth. Lastly, and alternately, if you don't have a Ferro Rod start thinking bow drill. Your t-shirt will once again save the day as your bowstring and tinder bundle. And, like I alluded to before, next fire mentality dictates that you make char material next. Let me demonstrate all 3 scenarios. Please follow the LINKs below and SUBSCRIBE. Thank You! "Well, what do you make of that, Bill?" "...I can make a hat or a broach or a terradactyl and a FIRE!"

Good stuff here Mr. West, thank you for sharing!

Hi David! In a pinch, an old garment can be the down payment on several future fires. Great demo!

Excellent stuff my friend.

Great vid as always David.😊 Perhaps also another good option which uses a t-shirt(some material better than others) to start a fire is using a sharp edge to shave up a lint ball. Then igniting that with whatever means of spark you have. The idea is in a survival situation you want to be efficient in using up as little of the resources that provide something for you as possible (while still acheiving the goal)...the t-shirt keeps you warm and protected to some extent.

VERY GOOD JOB.
