I'm SO SORRY about the end of this video where you can hear, not only my voiceover, but the original audio! I have NO IDEA how that happened as I took out the original audio in editing. It even seems like all of the background audio is louder than it should be, so I'm a little frustrated that it's so different than what I edited. Lesson learned! I will be watching it myself after I upload to make sure that doesn't happen again. Hopefully you can hear it well enough and I apologize because it really is annoying. UGH! Oh well. All I can do is laugh about it because if I re-upload it, it kills the video in the algorithm. 💁

When I see so much stuff I really motivates me to downsize even more
-
All of that food for one person. We all deal with grief differently. ❤
-
I'm hoping this lady in the near future can donate some of those food items while they're still good. She might be having trouble moving on from a life where she cooked more, or for more people. It must be hard to transition after losing her husband. Hopefully she'll enjoy all the space you created for her. And now that she has a clear overview of all her stuff, she can maybe start to let some of it go. Loved the mental health break, that is one sweet kitty! And you're a trooper, Bonnie!

You should always call the pet visits mental health breaks 😂 I laughed so hard at that and its very true!
-
I vote for calling pet breaks mental health breaks from here on out! It was so sweet of them to get you flowers, that is so kind 💐

🐻 Bonnie. We were a family of six my husband myself and 4 children and we never had that much food in our house at one time!! I was flabbergasted at the amount of food Tupperware and dishes!!!! I realize she probably moved a whole house into this tiny space but my goodness. It is definitely time to pare down. Love your videos ❤❤❤

As a daughter of an 83 year old mom who I have been helping declutter her home for about 5 years now, I suggest to this lady's daughter to spend a few hours here and there helping her mom declutter a few spaces in the kitchen as time permits. I live 40 minutes away from my mom, so I have limited time available to assist my mom.

Wow, that's a lot of food for one person!

As a person of some age, I say it is time to purge. Start anywhere, but look at everything and decide if you need, donate, garbage every item in a selected area. Just keep going after you catch your breath maybe, but roll on into another area/room and just roll with it. 6 months from now you may to revisit an area where you see a need for improvement. And have fun!

My parents are hoarders. We live in two story house, they live downstair and I with my kids upstairs. I keep my flat clean an without clutter, once in a while I clean also my parents flat, but they are hoarders and keep a lot of a clutter everywhere so it takes only days to get messy again. They refuse to get rid of stuff so I just make sure the is no mold food and insects. They are in their 70s with lot of healt issues, this are their last years of life. I am already mentaly preparred for a big cleaning once they will meet God. Not worth it to spend the time lecturing them or arguing about the mess.

I could watch your videos for hours. Between the scrubbing sounds, organizing, your innate kindness, and your sense of humor, yours is my favorite channel❤

I got so overwhelmed watching all that food stuff that came out of that pantry 😮 Great job as usual 👏🏻
-
That’s good advice Bonny - jump to positive conclusions instead of negative. ASTONISHING how that little pantry held that much STUFF!!
-
That kitty is saying, “Thank You So Much “ for helping us 😂🤣☝️❤️👍🏼

Bonnie this series has inspired me so much. I have also started watching Dana K White trying to get to be able to de-clutter. I had tried to match lids with containers but that is not working after a couple months. I am working in my kitchen now my kitchen is exactly like this lady's I am 70 and my 3 children are grown and gone so only me and hubby. I pulled out all my utensils with the first show. I was able to let go of about three-quarters of them that were not my favorite and ones I had 3 or 4 of. My hubby goes to the flea market with baseball memobrilla. I sent a huge old Tupperware round that used to be a huge cake taker filled with standing utensils. I had my daughter put 50 cents each. He came home yesterday and had sold 20 of the items. I seriously would have donated them but this worked. I will donate what was left including the Tupperware container I will also include the lid for it since it makes a great storage container and I have 3 of them from back in the day. I just want you and this lady to know how much this has inspired me. It makes it so much easier to know I am not alone. and it is ok to let things go.....

I wish the homeowner was ready to declutter, it would make organizing more efficient. She has way too much stuff. You did well what you had to work with🎉

I find it interesting how every home has its own sound. 1) chiming clocks 2)pets chirping, meowing, & barking 3) sports on TV 4)music 5)traffic driving by Ghost Pines usually has the windows & doors open 2 hear the birds surrounding my property. Love it! Enjoy your weekend. I think it's a tie between moose & bear. Your Oregon Viewer. 🫎🐻

“Why doesn’t the (child) help?” (Usually the daughter) Is an idea that needs to be gotten rid of. Like you mentioned, maybe they have! But more importantly, children are not responsible for their parents, even as adults! And some parents can’t be helped. Sorry, not sorry. Learned helplessness is a thing too …and for the sake of their own sanity, some kids need to detach. Just everything about that statement really gets my goat, and I’m so glad that you tackled it. Thank you. 🫎

Your videos help me get inspired to get up and go clean something I have been neglected for too long. My husband on the other hand gets scared because I go into "attack cleaning mode" as he calls it. He runs and hides fearing I may randomly start scrubbing him if he gets in my way.
