  • I like the detail of him having flashbacks to the caves in the dark, and the only thing that makes him feel somewhat safe is the light
  • When I saw the gunner comic I was fully expecting scout to be in a wheel chair.

Good Trip: "We're rich! Mushroom!" Bad Trip: "I popped a lootbug!" đź’€
  • the tiny... elf? goblin? becoming a loot bug after he takes the red suger is... funny.

Scout probably still got the grappling hook to get in the 9th floor from a window

Seeing goblins and elves in these comics made we wish we got to see or hear more about the other races in DRG lore.
  • - Stop climbing through the window, this is 9th floor, dude. - Yeah, I got s grappling hook, what are you gonna do about it?
  • Well, imagine driller razing the foundation of this building to get that red sugar.

I love how this is in the uncanny valley of funny, but also sad at the mental state of his

So I can’t find a driller comic. I don’t know if there is one. But from what I understand of the other comics. Gunner is “nostalgic” for his time in the mines. Likely his ptsd is manifesting as a lack of purpose. Whatever he went through as a soldier before hoxxes probably left him with damage and hoxxes became a way to sort of “vent” his feelings and damages. Leading to a slightly more put together person on the surface but leaving him a disturbed individual. Scout clearly has some issues he’s failed to work through via substance abuse. He’s probably never lucid enough to really feel his feelings. But also scouts always been kind of weird so who’s to say he wasn’t like this before the mines and the mines just made whatever problem there was worse. Engineer is to me the most sad as his ptsd comes out in a more traditional sense. Phrases and noises triggering traumatic flashbacks that cause him to space out for a time. And it seems like while he’s managed to put his life together he is turning to alcohol in order to not think about it. It’s not clear how often he goes to the bottle. His substance use likely being nowhere near as bad as scouts but still isn’t the best way to cope. But also he’s a dwarf and will probably not suffer the effects of alcohol abuse. But still it’s not healthy mentally to ignore this stuff. Finally driller. Again I’m unaware if a comic exists for him. My guess is he’s probably gone deaf from his drills. He’s probably in demolition still as it’s something that reminds him of the one thing he could be counted on for. He’s probably gotten a lot angrier as his ptsd goes untreated, leading to a very off-putting personality that pushes others away from him… funnily enough just like when he’d use his c4. Danger close. So uh mental health is important and all people fictional or real should seek help when needed.

Reminds me of that one post where the guy wakes up at 3am to go get something from the fridge, and instinctively checks the ceiling for cave leeches
  • the fact he didnt scream. LIGHTING UP!!! Makest this unrealistic 0/10 completly unwatchable
  • Of course he likes it dark, thats why all my scouts never use their lights unless you force them to.
