That detailer did a heck of a job. I'd get him to detail the engine bay then get to work on it. It'll be a more pleasant experience than doing the work as-is.

The best thing was the old hit an miss motor making ice cream 😂

It's your and Joe's efforts that help get those cars back on the road and keep them there. Thanks for the video.
  • Top 5 ?, more like Top 200!, Fantastic change of pace video, I especially liked the band playing as music is the other rabbit hole I find myself occupying.

Great content Tim!!! Your videos are always a learning experience for me!!! I appreciate that!!! Also since watching your content, I have come to appreciate the originality of machinery more and more!! As a 71 year old man, this is new territory for me!! I loved this show. Something for everyone!!! You would have made a great History teacher!!!! Again, thank you my friend and God bless you and yours!!!! Eddy

The Caprice is fantastic ,a piece of 70's Nostalgia!. And great to see a American Le France that hasn't been turned into a 'speedster" .The Mercedes 170 is a nice example. The immediate post war 170's were actually prewar cars that were rebuilt in the factory as it was being repaired after the war. The prewar 170V's were wood framed bodys ,whereas the 1949 onwards cars were all steel with a pretty heavy separate chassis.

Congratulations on your new acquisition and enjoy! Cars from the show I'd most want to be seen in are the gold 1971 Plymouth Fury, 1955 Packard, 1959 Edsel Ranger, 1957 Lincoln Premiere, and maybe the little Cheez It car

Wow what a transformation that caprice looks awesome and with a few simple fixes it will be a good cruiser .Loved the show at the school especially the students cars we need more young people in the hobby and your videos are helping inform them i enjoy the quality of the filming.P.S. no matter what you paid for the cutlass as long as your happy that's all that matters .it needed to be saved and I thank you for that.looking forward to the next video Karl from eastern Canada
  • Nice car tim ,and amazing collection of older cars on display, a lot of incredible looking cars and trucks…
  • 24:20 was a 56 Packard 400. The headlights were more hooded than the 55's. The 56 has more forward overhang than the 55.

My Dad bought a new '77 Impala-it was a nice car, but it had a 6 cylinder engine-he always bought base cars,no AC, no power windows, etc. He put 150K miles on it, and he really hated to see it go-enjoy your Caprice!

As a former high-school musician myself, I truly appreciate the music backdrop... Nice show, Tim!
  • A Little TLC AND A Few New Parts, going to be a sweet ride !

77 COTY -Motor Trend Car of The Year. The redesigned downsized Impala / Caprice. Also the best selling car of 1977, the number was just over 700,000k I think. Cutlass was Number 1 in 76, Impala took top spot in 77 but then Cutlass became number 1 again in 78 through 81 I think. Probably the most successful downsizing in GM history, good enough to last all the way to 1990 until they replaced it with the beached whale.
  • LeSabre is amazing, priceless as is the Minnie Mo UDLX. They were pricey and not many sold, so they command six figures now. Nice show, diverse vehicles and the students cars are very cool. Hopefully they catch the sickness as we all did
