The automotive landscape will never be that cool or exciting again, unfortunately. Thanks for sharing!! π

So much to say, but I won't. Just an old guy remembering. Thank you!

I like the racing decals on the windows. How we ran em back in the 80's. Bragging rights for what speed parts we had on the cars. Usually got two decals with each part. That green survivor Camaro would look great with 15x10 deep dish wheels and 295 50 tires filling out the flares.

I was 10 yrs old in 1970, just old enough to begin to appreciate what a muscle car was down in SE Texas. I knew what a 'Goat" was, and a Z28, 442, Vette, etc. These rarities are like the tip of the iceberg. Great vid.

It was great to meet you at the Supercar Reunion. My brother & I have attended the last 3 years. He owns, "Rats Nest". I have been a subscriber to your channel for a while now and greatly enjoy the history of the cars and parts you feature. Great coverage of this event.

That black on yellow 69 Copo with the 4 speed is SICK! That's the true definition of a dream car.

Sweet Chevys, love them all. Thanks for sharing.

Those 70s Fbody Baldwin cars are great. The striping adds even more to it. Might be tacky for some, but I dig it.

Most people don't realize how significant that Fred Gibb Nova is . Those were ordered by Gibb as L78 396/375 , turbo 400 cars for use in SS/DA class . Until those cars were built you couldn't get an automatic transmission behind a solid lifter Chevrolet engine . These cars proved that the trans would hold up to the abuse and in '69 they became available as regular production items . Dickie Harrel further modified some of the cars that Gibb had ordered by swapping out the L78 engines for L72 , 427/425s . There was a road test , I believe in Pop Rod Magazine , pitting a stock '68 L78 Nova against a Harrel modified version and one of his converted L72 Novas .
