I for sure agree that Gen 5 was probably the last game in the series before the game fell off pretty hard, the sprite and music work was amazing, and the characters and plot were memorable. Although I do think that Gen 6 had its charms with the fairy type introduction along with the ORAS post game (X/Y sucked so whatever), along with Gen 7 having a rather interesting plot, gym system, and lore, although Gen 5 still feels like it was the last game that managed to get everything right Overall based + good video + I watched + based reshiram name

I slept Gen 5. Gen 6 got my attention back on the series.

Sun and Moon and Scarlet and Violet have a soul

I hate the people who hated this game in the past.

I wish it has a HGSS Styled Remake

Great video! I think Gen 5, along with HG/SS really showed the apex of what GF can do with 2D sprite art and they've really pushed the limit of what you can do on the DS. It's such a shame that no Pokemon game on the 3DS managed to deliver such polish compared to HG/SS and B/W. Don't even get me started with the switch gens, lol. 😂

Nah SM was gas, especially USM but otherwise yea

Gens 1-5 were the best and what do they all have in common? No 3D, not open world, none of that. Imo Pokemon should have stayed 2D. We saw new sprite poses/animation, walking in the grass and getting surprised with a shiny or a legendary, the top down view, those things made the games what they were and that has been taken away from the franchise. 3D and open world added absolutely nothing to the series.

Incorrect but good try. If anything Gen 5 is the most soulless aside from one decent character: N. If anything this video and your monotone is more soulless
