What a fantastic caravan tour we are having here in Yorkshire and in the vlog we go to the most beautiful village of Goathland where ITV's Heartbeat was filmed.
'Why do you skip when my baby kisses me!'
We go to the Aidensfield Arms, the village stores and visit Scripps Garage and funeral directors.
This walk around includes steam trains, olde world stations and much more.
Come with us for a look round and take a trip back in time.
Thanks for watching and please subscribe and leave a comment.
Cheers,
Dave & Helen.

  • Hi Dave and Helen, another great vlog thank you. We love Goathland and surrounding district but not been for a while. Looks like Scripps Garage has a new owner since we last went. The old one was so grumpy and hated tourists but loved their money!!. Looking forward to the Scarborough vlog. Enjoy. Cheers Terry
  • Lovely video, the steam train was amazing, looking forward to your video in Scarborough, as we are their in June on the C&CC site. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  • Hi Dave & Helen, Great video ๐Ÿ‘. We visited Goathland many times in the 90โ€™s and have been on the steam train too, so it was nice to see it all again. We stayed at a lovely guest house in Scarborough for seven consecutive years as we love that coastline. Curious to see your premium pitch as weโ€™ve got one booked for this summer. Like you we wanted to try one out. By the way, you captured Whitby well ๐Ÿ˜€ All the best, Rob & Gail.
  • Love that area we stop at Scarborough West Ayton caravan club site. Such a lot to see and do. X
  • Another great video, we loved Goathland too. We stayed at Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe a few years ago and took the North York Moors railway into Whitby, it was a lovely trip. Not been to Scarborough yet so looking forward to the next video

Hi Dave and Helen, Another great vlog, you are taking us on a journey down memory lane with travels so far. Hope you're enjoying Cayton Village site, we have stayed many times and usually book a serviced pitch and stay on the top site across from the superior pitches, only down side apart from cost is the fact they are the first pitches in the shade on sunny days . Enjoy the lovely coastal walks and then relax in the Farrier pub it's lovely. Paul and Jo ๐Ÿ˜Š

Loved this video and all of the ones from North Yorkshire. Goathland is like a second home to us having stayed there 14 times since 2012, its a beautiful part of the country. So much history and popularity with Heartbeat, although the younger folk recognise it has the Harry Potter station. There is actually a caravan site at the back of the 'Aidensfield Arms' for future reference. We want you to try it out for us before we book it in the future..๐Ÿ˜‚ By the way, good job you didnt eat in the Goathland Hotel, we did a few years back and the food was rubbish. The place across the road 'The Inn on the Moor' on the other hand is superb and we eat here often. Keep up the great videos. My wife and I always look forward to a new video from yourselves every week. We watch them all.
  • Great video dave great place must visit again in aidenfield arms apparently only used in the first few series after that it was a set Cheers martin
