  • My ex-inlaws work for a major airline, and they were always “finding” things from people's luggage such as cameras, PlayStations, and Diamond rings worth $20k. My advice is if it's valuable keep it by your side at all times. I will never trust an airline.
  • Flying home from a friend’s wedding, my bag was “lost” in St Luis during a change over. I say “lost” because after a week my bag did make it back to me- with all of my belongings picked through and many pieces of my jewelry missing. I ALWAYS pack valuable (read “I don’t want to loose it) items with me in my carry on, but I had been in a rush and super tired after the wedding that I forgot that one time. Never again. They stole the jewelry set she gave me for being her maid of honor, my Pandora bracelet, and a ton of my other costume jewelry 😭 The airline said it must have “fallen out in transit.” Yes, it fell out of the gift box, out of the bag INSIDE my suitcase THEN fallen out of my completely zipped suitcase. No reimbursement since my Bag was technically returned. I was 💯 SOL. I’m still mad when I think about it 😤 Fell out indeed. Super fun video though! I never knew a place like this existed for truly lost luggage! So cool! 😄

I was once in a short flight where most passengers did not carry any luggage but I did. And when I got to baggage claim, I saw this girl taking off with my Samsonite suitcase. I confronted her, and she told me she had taken my stuff because my suitcase looked exactly like hers. BUT, she didn’t go back to baggage claim. She just left. I think she was a professional thief.
  • Part of my brain is like “the airports literally say don’t leave bags unattended” because BOMBS and the other part is like, this is so genius. Let’s just hope you’re not on a watch list now 😅
  • I honestly feel so bad for these people, imagine losing your luggage with important items but instead of getting returned they are selling your items, let alone mistreating

OMG! She had her wedding dress in the lost language! Imagine how much stress did she has. And the Persian vase that you have found which made of cooper is very expensive in Iran. The name of this art is Mina-kari ( this type is Mina-kari over the cooper) and the other type is Mina-Kari over the clay. Anyway, you have good staff now and had adventure. Thanks for viseos.

Im always SO worried about forgetting my bag at the gate that when I sit down I wrap the backpack strap around my leg so I will LITERALLY trip over it if I get up and try to forget it
  • Hopeeee nooooo. I’m a flight attendant and when you leave something on the plane as a flight attendant we have to look for stuff like that and if stuff is left we have to call TSA and treat it seriously!😭
  • It seems odd that these bags never find their owners. They are all tagged when u check in the the tag has all the owners information.

I used to work at a museum, and of course we had a lost and found. We would keep items tagged for 1 month for visitors to come back and claim them and then after that the museum would sell any items they could and that money would go back to the museum and everything else was donated or actually used in some of the more creative exhibits. The vast majority of items lost were cameras and phones and glasses. I would say about 40% of people who lost something actually came back for it, but the others either assumed it was stolen or were from out of town and just let it go or filed their insurance claims.
  • everyone: watching and paying attention me: why did she buy leggings for $500
  • this shows how much Hope loves us!! SHE LOST HER LUGGAGE FOR US
  • I've worked a lot of places that dealt with lost and found, hotels, ski resorts, etc. Everyone has such different procedures and this absolutely fascinated me! Like one hotel I worked at basically everyone would turn a blind eye if housekeeping "didn't find" a lost item...
  • @Zacheree
I love how hope is so kind with the stuff she finds but also makes sure to show us every detail and everything about that item
  • i work for an airline and it’s actually a huge security threat to leave your luggage unattended especially in the overhead lockers so please be careful it’s a huge process that gets involved in doing these types of activities
  • Tucson, Az has “Free Ever After” where you can donate your wedding dresses and they sell them for cheap and the money they raise helps women who have been victims of abuse
  • @evie4564
I remember long ago the airlines “lost” many of our luggage for my family’s very important trip, it was sad thinking about it when I was younger I always wondered if I’d ever find it
  • @kaprantil
That book is a collectible. I ordered mine on Amazon’s for $200 and I still had to get it restored. So awesome find!
