  • The mark in the center is where they cut the hot glass with cold scissors as it went into the mold. Nice piece
  • I have just dug out my Mums dish with the same design, beautiful shine to the iridescent. It's a smaller dish with the eagle claw and ball feet, it's green and the butterfly in the middle has the very same line that yours has, its not a scratch, definitely a mark the glass has made. So interesting to see this, thank you.
  • Ya a factory defeat. But funny I have a blue set that was my great grandma’s.Don’t know what year it was. But it only survive do to my mom because r double cousin was selling everything of their grandma’s after she had passed away for drugs.
  • I have one that's similar to yours. It's blue, with more berry detail, no feet, no butterflies. It was purchased by my grandmother. Mine has a twisted metal handle. I'd never sell it, but curious about it's value.
  • Its a straw mark. When they would remove the glass from the mold they sould throw it into a pile of straw. I may be wrong but i dont think so...my mom and dad were antique dealers for 35 years. And my moms favorite was the cobalt blue. She had the whole set.
  • I don’t stash merch, I put it in my cart and if I change my mind I “unshop” it by reshelving it.
