  • I saw it. It was worse than i thought. I shouldnt be noticing bad camera framing and editing. The villain was a joke and there is zero passion into making this movie. Its the equivalent of getting a writing assignment and everyone is groaning and dragging their feet.

There’s no ‘heroes journey’ in movies these days. The lead, mostly women, suddenly get their super powers, just sprinkle fairy dust and they’re suddenly the strongest, smartest people around. Boring! And I don’t hate women, I am a mature woman who misses movies that make sense.

Sony, Disney and Warner Bros are in a competition to see who can develop the worst movies possible

7:43 funny how they always cry "DON'T OBJECTIFY WAHMIN!" and yet they show cleavage and skin like insane. Are they really showing it "for themselves"? Or so that the simps will crowd the theaters and consume their product?

According to Midnight Edge this movie was in the making for ten years under the code-name ‘Glass Ceiling’ and the ONLY criteria until very recently was ‘all-female Spider-Man movie’. They had no script, no characters, no ideas…for ten years.

“If you could do good things for other people, you would have a moral obligation to do those things. That’s what’s at stake. Not choice, responsibility.” from The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) sounds more subtle (and makes more sense) than the line in Madame Web.
  • Id argue that if Sydney Sweeney wasnt in this movie a large chunk of the already small amount of people seeing it would be even smaller. I wanted to see it solely based on her and her looks lol. Im sure alot more people feel the same way. Im glad I've dodged this bullet tho.

That blonde in the thumbnail. Dayumm

Was a mistake to make the trio high school kids. It needed a more mature base to build on.

Another movie that hates Spider-Man. You would think that Marvel and Sony would be a bit more faithful to the mythos of a character that quite literally makes them a good bulk of their money. But then I remember that Marvel Hates Spider-Man.

The first review i watched saying the suit up scene was only in a vision had me saying it's a no go for me.

It's always interesting to me when the worst possible thing happens. Complete and total disasters are really quite rare.

When in doubt show Sydney Sweeney. Guaranteed to get clicks.

Sony don't even care since they gotta make movies occasionally to keep the Spider-Man rights they're never letting go of.

I think pepsi financed this dumpster 🔥
