for the amount of currency you just spent crafting that chest you could have bought a grasping mail with amour overcap and crafted a hubris to go with it. this is why theres none of these "budget" vaal regalias on the market as they are almost pointless for the build with these prices (they are more a league start type replacement in my opinion), especially if you are buying a base with fractured ES. also you kept rolling over INT, in the build you are pretty much only focusing fire res as it scales the unique helms mod, armour overcap and you are using (should be using) purity of elements which gets scaled like an aura stacker, which is essentially what the build is just focusing more on empowering a few auras sky high rather then fitting in as many auras as possible. Int is very valuable as it helps increase your total pool of ES and mana. The only reason for this regalia and unique helm combo as a "budget" option is to replace doryanis prototype, which is the real "budget" version of the build really, but people tend to dislike doryanis version due to lightning degen being the chests biggest downside. im my opinion, if your gona play armour stacker, go play doryanis prototype, skip the regalia + armor overcap unique helm combo, go farm currency and buy a grasping mail + hubris. Also think, if these "budget" regalias dont exist on the market, then ur investment in crafting the chest will be a complete waste of currency when you upgrade as no one will buy it. Doryanis is still played in other builds and you can at least recoupe some of your investment. Offcourse this is just my opinion. The build is an absolute blast, but it also requires a lot of investment and time and research to understand the build and how it scales properly. you can easily get very frustrated not understanding why you are dying or why your dps sux ass when you were promised tanking uber maven memory game and killing valdo feared in seconds. that level of game play will cost you a few mirrors to attain.

This was a useful video. People in the comments complaining about rolling over the Int need some context - the Regalia BigDaddy has in his budget version of the build has two good res mods because it's assuming no Mageblood, so res is needed where it can be found. The Int mod is preferred if you're running a MB but the build might struggle on lightning/cold res without one. So yeah if you are running a MB a similar craft but trying to keep Int is nice.

Hey, just to clarify - is there any reason bringing this item to 30q besides increasing defenses of the base item and maybe fusing chance? Does it in any way influence something else, e.g. tier of rolled mods?

To clarify when you mentioned having to recraft the item if you didn't use perfect fossils at the start, can't you use hillock to get 30%? Otherwise, loved the video and I am tempted to have a go at doing this build, have never made a bosser!

can you vendor grasping mails to get global defences / overcap? or does it have to drop like that?

Does the chest need to be influenced? I found an regular vaal regalia with t1 shield fractured. Itemlvl 84/85 I believe. I'm just started watching so don't know if you mention it later on.

I really wouldn't use eldritch chaos to hit the T2 ES%, its not reliable as you can't block, costs way more than you need (27c a shot) and you risk then having to yolo eldritch annul if it adds 2 prefix. Easiest way is just add searing influence, craft mana/life, slam, eldritch annul (18c a shot) if you dont get it. If you want to make it even cheaper you can remove the craft before annuls.

try his big budget build out ive played it for 3 leagues in a row wasn't disappointed biggest reason i havent rolled one yet is because im working on mf gear for my ts character

the chest is now closer to 50 divines for the base.

I'm pretty stupid, I've spent 70 divs yesterday rage crafting trying to get T2 res and T2 % energy shield with only essence spam :/. Somehow my brain filtered the part of bigdaddy talking about using eldritch currency to get the prefixes. If I just waited another day for your video...
