My family came from Scotland in 1638 got back on the same ship left Mass. to Long Island 1640 because of so many people. It's possible someone could have settled there in 1600 just to get away. Thank you Charlie for sharing a families venture for freedom

That dandy button was beautiful. Great find! I have to say, your videos just keep getting better. Love the historical narrative and how you talk to us like we are standing right next to you. I even found myself saying “well, it’s a thing!” when you pulled out that piece of iron. LOL.
