  • I've been watching your videos so long that when I detect and dig a shotgun shell, I automatically say "shotgun willie" 🙂 Some nice finds today! 👍
  • My family came from Scotland in 1638 got back on the same ship left Mass. to Long Island 1640 because of so many people. It's possible someone could have settled there in 1600 just to get away. Thank you Charlie for sharing a families venture for freedom
  • That dandy button was beautiful. Great find! I have to say, your videos just keep getting better. Love the historical narrative and how you talk to us like we are standing right next to you. I even found myself saying “well, it’s a thing!” when you pulled out that piece of iron. LOL.
  • Love the fancy button. I always wondered if you went back to the site where you found the 1652 shilling. Waiting for you to go back to the button garden again.😊
  • Thank you Charlie for the adventure and seeing some amazing finds !
  • You need to go back in the fall or spring! Still some great finds to be had there for sure!! Thanks for letting us tag along on you're adventure.
  • Hi Charlie, another enjoyable video on this Not Thursday. History can definitely be a mystery. Thank you, Joyce ❤️🙏🇺🇸
  • Curiouer and curiouer site. Indeed a revisit in the fall might well prove up a cabin site. Ya can bring the fellas check it out
  • @321minder
    Our history, it's a wonderful thing. 😊
  • 💥💥💥💥The well @12:04 is for seasonal living quarters built on the location of a spring/summer live stock grazing site. It might have been a cabin or just a canvas tent fortified with a few wooden braces, which was common in the period, and well documented in the early 1800s. Livestock was your livelihood. They would not be left unattended even a mile away from the home s
  • “Time has come today”…..another interesting outing Charlie…thanks for posting.👍🫡👍
  • Would you share the museum you are working with to preserve your finds? Tell us more about the history and charters that took place in the area.😊
  • That's a beautiful dandy button. I'm sure there's lots more to find there even if it has been hunted hard.
