He’s always been a genuine decent person. People are put out because he’s extremely wealthy. He was doomed from Day 1 after the Johnson and Truss scandal. I hope Sunak or someone of his ilk stays on as head of the opposition. I'm an Aussie and i am left politically ... But Sunak does seem true to his values and seems quite fine. Government needs a strong opposition be it left or right. So i hope Sunak can stay on and provide some stability to the opposition so the government can be spurred on to be greater too. It's lovely to see a man happier though suffering an electoral loss hope he can lead the conservative party through this time.

This speech should put to rest any doubts people had on Sunak's abilities. You can get to the top by chance, but you can't stay there by chance. He may have been politically defeated, but that doesn’t reflect his incompetence in the role.
