How To Delete Your Facebook Account Permanently

01:05 I'm gonna show you how to permanently delete Facebook. Now before I get into this I just wanna remind you guys
01:28 Now once you get all logged in to Facebook you're ready to go. First thing you wanna do is backup all of your data you don't wanna lose your photos your videos and your posts or whatever that you put on Facebook so you wanna copy those and back them up
01:45 First thing you wanna do is go to this little drop down arrow left click on that go down to settings and on this screen you'll see Download a Copy of Your Facebook data. Click on that and it tells you what's included post photos
02:10 Click on Start My Archive and you put in your Facebook password and click on submit
02:59 Here's how you deactivate Facebook temporarily go to the drop down arrow, go to settings, go to security and then you
have deactivate your account.
03:54 You can have your account automatically reactivated in a certain amount of days if you want to by clicking
on this little box and selecting how many days you want it to auto reactivate
04:14 Go back to Facebook and login at any time while it's deactivated logging in automatically reactivates the account
04:59 You know what I'm ready I'm deleting you permanently. I click on this little security padlock and click on the search and type in delete
and there's an option on here that says What's the difference between Deactivating and deleting my account. You wanna click on that and then within here you'll see where it says Permanently delete your account click on that.
05:40 And then here it says if you'd like your account permanently deleted with no option for recovery log into
your account and Let us know, Click on Let us know and then click on delete my account. It's gonna ask you to place your password and then enter the captcha to make sure you're a real person
06:23 Then click on OK and it says your account has been deactivated from the site it will be permanently deleted within 14 days if you log into your account within the next 14 days you will have the option to cancel your request so you still got a fail safe if you decide you don't want to delete it.
