By breaking up the larger units, all UKR is doing is trying to plug holes. This is the next stage of a frontal collapse. Those units being sent off will never get the level of support other nearby units will receive and will be more prone to retreat.

Thank you for the color to denote advancements. Yellow is usually (by other mappers) used for Ukraine since it is in their flag. Bright pink or purple would be good for Russia, and yellow for Ukraine. Making the whole color the same color as regular captured areas, but with a COLOR LINE BORDER around new captured is better. (Looking at how WeebUnion does it explains it better)

People are dying, and it doesn't matter what country they were born in they're human beings, and we should do everything possible to stop this while we still can. We'd be lucky if Russia would be willing to draw the new boarders where they stand.

'269.3' - are hills designated according to height above sea level? (if I have the location correct, topographic map says 130m = 426.5 feet) Perhaps you can check using your topographic overlay layer. (could be named after coordinates on a custom grid)
