The irony of Nestle’s logo being a mother bird feeding her young naturally while trying to push artificial feeding
  • And most recently the ceo of nestle suggested that privatizing the worlds water supply was a good idea - what a bunch of crooks
  • @NjonjoNdehi
My cousin here in Kenya is a pediatrician. She's refused to recommend infant formula to mothers who have enough milk despite being pressured by the multinationals.
  • @AvaGrail
My father, a structural engineer, was offered a job at nestle but when he found out these cyrrupt business practices he refused to work for them

Read somewhere: Nestle treats human rights violations like a checklist.
  • @nona1271
Nestlé just failed to spend enough money to keep these things secret. Modern companies are much wiser, and have developed sophisticated ways to ensure you never, ever find out about what they're up to.
  • @Geoffzilla
The biggest joke is when the package says, "I'm made from recycled plastic," you think they're talking about the packaging and not the product itself.
  • Nestle is right up there on the Evil Corps list. We've been boycotting Nestle for close to 20 years. The real fun comes, trying to keep up with all of the acquisitions and umbrella purchases. They seem to gobble up great little companies.

There is a nestle factory in my hometown. Whenever it would rain, the entire town would smell like a fresh cup of coffee. Other than that, nobody has anything nice to say about their presence.
  • Remember guys, Nestle has a much biggger body count than any serial killer.

I had a client who was a family member of one of the Unilever founders. It might have been in the late 90s when she met the CEO of Nestlé. She had 20 minutes with him but they talked for 2 hours. She confronted him with some of the accusations. He admitted, he knew what was wrong but blamed it on the investors who want profit over moral. The problem is a vicious cycle as people with money want to multiply their assets.

I want an hour of full documentary of how evil Nestle is
  • @rexmann1984
This should be a series. The most evil corporations.
  • @marquendra
What pisses me off is how they're almost impossible to escape buying from. Especially when you don't know exactly what brands are under them, and even if you do, they have a massive range on things most people buy constantly or need. Prime example is definitely water.
  • Remember kids: Nestle does no more evil than any other existing company - Nestle is just one of the very few companies that doesn't bother to budget for coverups.
  • @kavitapiter
I worked with Nestle at an icecream disributer company. So when our government demanded all manufacturers to disclose the product formula it came out that nestle icecream doesn't content any milk. That was a big surprise), so now i totally sure that all nestle products made of trash and try as much as i can to awoid then. It's so sad nestle bought up many companies here in russia and quality of product got worse a lot.
  • @nbshftr
"the human right to water is an extreme solution" the nerve
  • @natehoustman
I have a side job checking groceries. It's scary how many food brands Nestle owns, I've lost count. They say about 90% of the products at your grocery store come from only 10 big conglomerates.
