The Leafs have Minten, Steeves and maybe even Cowan fightig for roster spots. Sining an overpriced forward is not a priority not to mention the leftover forwards they can offer PTO to before preseason. Theres always a few quality bottom 6 players available that need contracts then.

This is kinda shocking. I was looking at free agent defenseman on Capfriendly this morning and came across Hakapanna. I've never heard of him, but his size and defensive stats made him a great fit for the Leafs. I feel like I hoped this into existence. 😂

I would have loved to see Robertson play under Berubes system tbh.

Why do they need to address the forwards? We can't make the playoffs with Matthews, Marner, Nylander Tavares, Domi?......... Not to mention our young players.
