I’m not 100% sure the music will sound in future but this is MY prediction so don’t take it seriously.

I’ll explain why I picked these music between 2030s ~ 2100s: In my opinion, the music genres in few decades later will be more like idiosyncratic sound with more complicated instruments that will be completely different from our generations’ of digital music instruments, like modern synthesizers, electronic dance music machines, hip-hop drum machines or any other electronic instrument devices. The music in future will be absolutely mind blown for our generations. Well it doesn’t mean it’s just only that, but also the old music from the past 100~300 years will be still there in future.

If you dislike or disagree about this video and my opinion, please leave me alone and ignore me. No ignorant disrespectful comments. Be respectful each other’s opinions.

I think AI will start generating music to our tastes based on our momentary emotional states, moods, and desires, and eventually everyone will just be their own genre.

Future people I'd like to warn you this whole comment section is like a time capsule
  • ...dude musics after 2070s are nightmare's straight up...gives dark, uncanny, "space-loner", "not-even-cyberpunk", "post apocalyptic-silence", "no-humans-left" "robot-music", "nightmarish-goosebumps" vibes
  • I disagree with that musical development prediction. Music won't just become faster and extremer, because we already have the abilities to generate that kind of music nowadays. What will evolve in my opinion is AI based music content, leading to completely new musical patterns and melodic frameworks that are superhumanly. Also the generation of virtual voices formulating real (or phantasy) language will play an important role and make music of the future sound more natural, but also futuristic at the same time. Just my two cents 😉
  • After 2020, my man just put up the geometry dash soundtrack and thought we wouldn't notice
