For me one of the funniest moments is when Ted arrives at Mary’s home and Keith David answers and Ted double checks the house number. 🤣
  • I watched this movie in the movie theater as a teenager. Man, the whole room was exploding in laughter the whole time, namely the zipper scene and Mary putting the cream on her hair. This movie was epic. The right balance of cheesiness with proper comedy.
  • How’s you get the beans above the frank? 😂😂😂 Keith David is one of the greatest actors EVER! Oh and Chris Eliot has been hilarious since letterman…
  • Didn't know Kingpin flopped, wow! Vanessa Angel was an utter babe. Also the like "we don't have a cow" as Woody chugs down a bucket full of "milk" kills me every time.
  • Minty throwing shade at YouTubers that use paid advertisements in their videos. I LOVE IT!
  • This movie is one of my favorite theater experiences. I've rarely heard an audience laugh so hard ever since.
  • You KNOW it’s going to be a killer movie when some people walk out after just a few minutes playing. Can’t get enough of the Farrelly brothers… bring on the raunch lol! Thanks Minty!

This is one of my top comedy movies. I'm so glad they didn't ruin it by making a sequel. I'm a Farley Brothers fan because I'm originally from Rhode Island and they incorporate RI landmarks we all recognize. Plus they make very funny movies. Big blue termite. Been a landmark since as long as I can remember. I'm 55. When we visited RI in 2004, my son saw the bug and shouted" that's in Dumb and dumber" . For the record, King pin was and is very underrated.
  • After this movie came out I was in a Spencers store, they sell novelties, and they had a "hair gel" thing you hooked on your ear, made out of semi clear plastic.

I think every dude watching is super jealous of your garage video store. My man cave is full of boxes I've been meaning to unpack for 3 years now. Well done sir.
  • i had this on VHS back then. i would come home from school, pop it in and laugh my ass off.
  • Probably the hardest I have ever laughed was while watching There's Something About Mary. But it wasn't because of a joke in the film, at least not directly. The film was a huge hit and many people were talking about how funny it was. One day, when my whole family was together, my grandmother said to us that she had heard that the movie was very funny and would like to see it. My sister, who should have known better, said, “Oh we can get that on pay per view.” For context, my grandmother was about 83-years-old, never swore, and went to mass nearly every day. She was a saint. But my sister had suggested pay per view so we sat down to watch it with her. In the masturbation scene, after he finished and was searching for his “love potion”, my grandmother asked “What's he looking for?” My brother replied, “his watch Grandma, he's looking for his watch.” I don't know if you had to be there to truly get how funny that was, but as I said I don't think I ever laughed harder than I did when my brother said “his watch.”

This was my favorite Farley Brothers movie behind Dumb and Dumber. The "franks and beans," the crazy dog, and the "Baseball" were hilarious.
  • Willy Zipper sounds like the name of a children's show character. His best friends are Billy Button and Vicky Velcro.
  • Wasn't feeling the best this morning but seeing this notification pop up put a smile on my face. Thank ya Minty!
  • I laughed so hard throughout this movie. It was one of the first comedy’s that had that effect in a while. It’s pure comedy gold. I’m glad the studio didn’t get their way. Studio films are usually a mess because there’s too many cook’s in the kitchen. The Farrelly brothers know what they’re doing.

"There's Something About Minty" Thanks for doing what you do, Minty. Love your take on things. And this was the funniest movie I ever saw in a theater. Everyone was screaming with laughter!
  • Well, THIS just made my day!!!! I made the fake dogs including the dog in the cast for Tony Gardner and was one of the on-set team on location in Miami! I have lots of BTS pix and it looks like you used a few of them in your video! I'm actually a fan of your "10 Things" series and have been watching them for a while so it was really nice for you to give THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY the "Minty" treatment!
