A special Saint indeed to my 3 daughters and myself. We belonged to the Parish of St. Catherine of Siena in Reseda, California where my daughters attended elementary school and I was a primary teacher. Never before had I experienced the charity of The Body of Christ during the darkest of times with the deaths of my brother and father. The Priests, the teachers and the congregation exemplified the love of God that St. Catherine of Siena lived during her lifetime. 🙏🏻

I was named after St Catherine of Siena! I went to visit her home and the church she had her ecstasies in. Her head is there as a relic. I bought a rosary at the bookstore and as I was chatting with the cashier the priest walked in and blessed my rosary! So special!
  • St Catherine of Siena ! We love you ! Thank you so much for this YouTube on this great Saint ! Amazing that she was born the 24th child out of 25 children ! This alone shows why Children are such a gift ! Dear St Catherine of Siena pray for us during this difficult time in the Church ! Blessings from Michigan !

I loved learning about St. Catherine of Sienna so much. My departed mother was named Mary Catherine but went by Cathie - and was a champion for the Lord and a nurse! I especially loved the portion of battling with satan. Yes he tries to put us down (and the Lord lifts us up in His mercy) and conversely when the evil one tells us we are better than we are - we can rest in our humility. In all things - God is first so the devil will forever be powerless and false. Thank you!!! 🙏
  • St Catherine, pray for my daughter, my son, my nephew, Jeremiah and grand niece, Rein. Pray for my family and friends. Thank you 🙏❤🙏

St Catherine of Siena pray for us 🙏🏻 I share the same birthday with you and ask that you unite all Christians and the rest of the world. Also please make the poor and sick livelier in Jesus name. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit Amen
  • The “soul of the apostolate” is the interior life. This is a great quote on our journey of missionary disciples of Christ to have a strong prayer life. 🙏🙏🙏 25:32
  • St. Catherine is a good role model for me. She was 33 the same age I had my first son.

St Catherine thank you for being my patron saint. I have always loved your grit and strength to do what is right. Unknowingly she has influenced my life and my spiritual ly guided life. As a nurse I had no idea that she is patron saints of nurses

  • Very beautiful presentation for the Feast of St Catherine of Siena, Virgin and Doctor of the Church. Well done Dr. Gray and Dr. Klein, and as a lay Dominican, very grateful for the props given to the Order! Catherine's courage and zeal and just enflamedness for the Lord is amazing. Beautiful discussion and I thank you both. I loved your discussion on being washed in the blood of Christ. In confession we are washed in the blood if Jesus as well as in the reception of the Holy Eucharist. So Our Blessed Lord gives is numerous washings, beginning at baptism, confession, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Who could have ever imagined that God Himself would take so much care to make us able to stand before Him clothed in His mercy. It is beyond comprehension and all we can do is offer our little selves to Him in return. People who do not yet know the beauty of the Lord and His love, say that God is a figment of a needy imagination. No one would ever conceive of a god like our God. No one! A God who makes himself so small could only be mercy and love, said St. Therese of Liseaux. All the pagan so called gods are totally unlike our God who shares in our humanity so we can share in His Divinity. May His name be praised forever!❤
