How Science Supports Belief in the Spiritual World w/Fr. Robert Spitzer | Chris Stefanick Show

Published 2023-04-19
Fr. Spitzer is back, and he has even MORE ways that science supports belief in God. This time, he’s talking about scientific evidence for the supernatural world.

Some of the evidence is stunning: reports from near-death experiences (NDEs) show people recognizing long-dead relatives, seeing objects they had never experienced, and even meeting God. Even better, people often lose their fear of death completely afterward.

Whether you’re worried that science disproves God, or just want to know what people experience when they almost die, you have to see this interview!

  • I’m a physicist and I believe in god as do about half of my physicist colleagues.

I've listened to Father Spitzer for many years. He has a phenomenal ability to recall facts, names, statistics on all sorts of subjects. He is a genius. If the host here suddenly decided to change the subject to the Holy Shroud of Turin, Father Spitzer would be able to rattle off details without having to prepare for the subject. I always look forward to his new lectures.

As a dialysis nurse I cared for a blind patient who had an out of body experience while on treatment. She had a respiratory arrest. The other nurse and I called the cardiac team and gave her back her blood. The patient had wanted her family to let her discontinue dialysis and die but they would not sign the paperwork. She was very upset with both of us nurses for not letting her die, she told us exactly what we did. About a year later this same patient sat up in bed while on treatment and called out to “mother” and held her arms out and then died. She was one of several patients who I experienced having out of body experience.

  • Shortly before my mom’s death she had an NDE. She saw a bright white light move along a 200 foot long hospital ward corridor and coming to rest in her room. In the light was her deceased mother, father, brothers and sisters, other family members and friends. She was so comforted and I was able to bring in Fr. Vincente to give her last rights and viaticum. Never delay bringing your priest in for an ill family member.
  • I worked in high level ICUs for twenty years and I saw a lot of deaths, dying and amazing recoveries. It only reinforced my belief in God.
  • Two of my favorites Catholics in conversation -- this made my day.

Coming back to this video after a year. Currently a medical student with a background in biology. During Lent and Easter, I managed to read A Doctor at Cavalry by Dr. Pierre Barbet, Fr. Spitzer's recent journal article on the Shroud of Turin, and more on Eucharistic miracles. God bless Fr. Spitzer, and all the men and women of science in the faith.

This happened to my Brother a year or so ago. He has rock solid faith now, no doubt at all. He expressed all the common NDE things, the feeling of pure love radiating from God, filling every space in the afterlife. He saw our deceased Mother there. After he told me this, I read a paper written by a Cardiologist, who documented all the NDEs that he witnessed. This included describing rare medical instruments that everyday people don't know exist- all while having no brain activity at all.

Thank you Chris for having father Spitzer on here. I watched him so many times with Doug Keck. It’s good to have him on your show and it’s good to have different people on your show like you do. So the more interesting topics the more you’re gonna get watched and I enjoy watching you too. So keep up the great work and hopefully you will have other people coming on your show of interest and I’m sure you will. Thank you very much. God bless you. This was really great thank you.
  • I'm an atheist, ready to be convinced and I want to be convinced. Let's see what happens...
  • In July of 2020. I was walk through the house. The Lord of Host (an angel) say to me. "Jesus of Nazareth is with you, Jesus of Nazareth has always been with you". Two month later. I had 3 TIA's and a heart attack. Went into ICU I was shown Heaven and "The Realm of Darkness". The Realm Darkness is the most horrible place. There is no sin in Heaven. The Realm of Darkness is absent from God. The absents of God is what makes the place so horrible. Without God there is no hope. No Hope in hell.

I had what I believe to be an NDE when I was 7 or 8, it was dark, and my life changed dramatically for the worse. Glad that the good Lord invited me back when I was 25. Happy to talk about it with someone interested.
  • Thank you so very much Brother Chris and Father Spitzer. This content is so very important to share especially for the non believers who need to hear The Word of God!! HALLELUJAH!! PTL!!

I feel a call to make a series called "The Science of Miracles," but I lack time and resources. I pray that somebody makes it. It's an idea and it has legs, but I don't think I'm the man for the job.
