I call BS. He obviously has never fired an AR or was near someone that was using a suppressor (can). An AR 15 556 is extremely loud, even with a can. Would have made zero difference.

A suppressor for a 308 or any 30 caliber rifle isn't going to reduce the decible level to a level low enough. You would still need ear pro, especially indoors.
