SOMETHING I JUST NOTICED: during the big "blah blah blahs" the hearing cast covers their mouths, but the deaf/hoh cast hold their hands out like their in handcuffs because that is their voice. this choreography i cant

I love how Austin does the "blah blah blah's" in this version, the way he controls the teacher's hand like a puppeteer is so powerful

Austin McKenzie really gave us one of the best musical theater performances of the century and then pretty much fucked off to nowhere (he has been in some film and tv since but this is his only theater credit)

i'm glad they took the microphones out when they went to broadway. it makes the choreo a bit awkward.

Probs a spicy take (and I don’t have a lot of them lol) but I prefer this production to the original. There’s just a different energy I really vibe with.
