Here we got the entire history of how this amazing location was brought back to life.
The Mission church stood for over 140 years before falling to fire during the English assault on St Augustine in 1702.
Archeological excavations throughout the 20th century led to the rediscovery of the original location.
The original building plans had been secured in archive in Madrid the entire time and the church was rebuilt in 2013.
It is a real church and before the covid pandemic, it held services and weddings.
The location is now inside the Fountain of Youth Archeological Park and also has numerous other native and colonial structures and history.
