  • We had a 63 or 64 SS ragtop (lol with a big hole in the top) when I was a little kid. Sweet cars I gotta plug this idea while there are few comments because it hasn't been done yet. Here goes... Take a 78 to 85 Mally wagon and cut out the B pillar. Install El Camacho doors & windows and fab up a door jamb, add Monte SS nose and a rolled rear pan of some sort and create a modern "panel Nomad of sorts. Lots of space for DSE and other sponsor logos etc. If I had the stack I'd be on the phone to DSE myself but..... Anyway I'm sure that this idea has never been conceived, let alone built. ALWAYS love the content on DSE channel thanks guys!

Another favorite from Detroit Speed gets love!!
  • Looking forward to seeing the progress! Love all the detailed pictures you post of your cars, it's a big help and inspiration. I'm building a '65 using some of your products and the quality is fantastic.

Awesome car, looking forward to seeing progress on it

Great video as usual always neat to see the cars unfinished to pick up some details, whats the story with that little short wide square in the background?

I have a 64' Chevy 2 and I had been building it with my Father before my 2 year LDS mission served in Australia 2007-2009. Got the car back on the ground from our rotisserie and primed for paint and running for my first burn out before leaving her in my Dad's care for two years.😥I came home and it was mine. But quickly found my wife and needed money to get her a 💍 so I worked a deal with my Father to sell it to him, but he could only sell it back to me. It's now been almost 12 years and got to get her back!! And finish her up right. Saw your product on this Chevy 2 and new they could make a shade tree build turn into a slick pro mod sleeper. I would love to learn more of your product and finish my dream car!

Looking forward to seeing more on this car! Is the brace in the trunk (from side to side) for added rigidity?

Man, that sub-frame and those inner fenders are beautiful! Are you going to offer a bolt/weld in trans tunnel, too?
  • @richardjones990
Do you plan to change the rear end ratio? Sure looks good with those wheels on there.

The Azure Aqua Metallic is the best color on those cars!! Black is so over done 😭
  • @comalgera
Any update on the pinion angle video that yall were gonna do

I loved this test car when it first came out years ago. I still have all the images saved of the build--have spent many hours studying them and dreaming about my own build some day. Along with the Nova Wagon build, this one was my favorite. Any chance the interior (recovered Recaro seats front and rear) are available out of this test car? Unless you are reusing them for the new color-combo, I'd love to have them!

Going with same wheels or switching it up?
  • @s0uthp4w68
I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit when he said LS.

The only thing I hate worse than no interior at all, is red interior. I absolutely despise red interior. I would rather have no interior in it at all, than to have red. 🤢🤮 But I understand it’s not my car .
