Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going all-in on the Disney Plus shows. From Wandavision, to Hawkeye, to Falcon and the Winter Soldier, they’re really pumping things out. The latest show on the slate was Moon Knight, starring Oscar Isaac as several versions of Oscar Isaac!

Moon Knight definitely raises a few questions. Like how much do we actually see Moon Knight in the Moon Knight how? How was it so easy for Harrow to convince the gods that he’s innocent? Why didn’t they just use an iPhone map to check the star map? When is death actually fatal in the MCU? Who knew it was that easy to escape from the afterlife?

To answer all these questions and more, step inside the Pitch Meeting that led to Moon Knight! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

Ryan is so good at playing these two characters that the whole bit about no one wanting to watch the same actor interact with himself flew over my head for like 15 seconds after the joke was made
  • "Nobody wants to see a character having a conversation with himself!" I was waiting for a joke after that, completely forgetting that Ryan is also not 2 people!! Hahahaha!!!!
  • @TMish73829
The “he flies now” was an excellent and well placed call back.
  • @MarcusUpZ
He plays these two seperate characters so well that it took me entirely too long to realize the "Nobody wants to watch one guy play multiple characters talking to themselves" line was a joke...
  • @OnlyAtJaMart
His new “hey shut up” line in the face of logic is hilarious and is catching on… he’s done it a lot lately
  • @MrHootiedean
I actually think of the writer and producer as two separate people so the "multiple characters" joke totally flew over my head. That's just how talented Ryan is!
  • @chrislaf
"It immediately does work like that, Marc!" made me literally laugh out loud
  • @leemiller29
After binging like 100 of these videos, I'm so used to the format that when the Producer Guy said, "One actor playing two characters? That never works!" I got mad before I realized how every single video on this channel is made hahaha
  • @mondieki
"It's just weird to watch one guy interacting with themselves." Meta jokes are tight.
  • @Doktor47
These pitch meetings are so convincing that I didn't even realize the "Same actor playing multiple roles in the same scene" was self referential
  • @johntabler349
The hero kills a bunch of people throughout the whole movie but when it comes to the really evil bad guy they're against killing, that's a pet peeve of mine too thanks for highlighting the absurdity
  • @cameronmnelson
The “He flies now?” “He flies now!” line will no doubt be enormously underrated.
  • @ryanbetts7295
The pained expression on Ryan's face during the "he flies now" is perfection
  • @David-Ray
Ryan's so good at "one guy interacting with himself" that it took a minute to realize that he was talking about Producer Guy and Script Writer Guy

I watched 3 back to back videos while lmao and realized i wanted to subscribe...it then dawned on me that i hadn't been asked to like or subscribe 12 times a video....which was nice, so i did. It's funny how that works...people remember to click the like button on videos they actually LIKE and automatically want to subscribe to good channels so they don't miss any new stuff without ceaselessly being asked to do so!!! lol. Great content and i look forward to more :)
  • Lol that bit with "No one likes seeing one guy play multiple characters" had me dying 🤣🤣 Edit: I know this is bad internet manners, saying "thanks for the likes," but this is the most likes I've ever gotten so can I just say... Wow wow wow... Wow
  • @redswasted8624
It actually took me a second to get the whole "the same actor talking to himself doesn't cut well together" bit 😂
  • @cheech9841
"doing what he does best, black out and take care of everything off screen" 💀💀
  • Your humor is my favorite because it's intelligent humor but also sarcastic and just plain silly. The way you've managed to meld it all together is pure genius!
