LIFE Habitat | Successful Accelerated Systematic Creep Test for Extended Human Missions

Sierra Space has completed its third successful test of its inflatable LIFE Habitat. This latest assessment, called an Accelerated Systematic Creep Test, was conducted on a subscale version of the habitat and exceeded NASA certification requirements for the Duration Test for Extended Human Missions.

  • Every time you show a module exploding, I would suggest a graphic overlay showing the pressure compared to normal breathable 1 atmosphere. eg, "6.0x ... 7.0x ... 12.0x ... burst!" just to give an obvious visual indicator of how very strong they are compared to normal use

  • My concern is how does the skin hold up to micro meteriods abd other space debris.
