This creates value in several core areas of need. And with additional remediation, in thirty or forty years, the true worth of these places will become obvious to all. Healthy habitat, strong populations of native fish, other animals. Clean water, and effective water recharge back into the aquifer. And many other benefits. One that really touches my heart, is to see kids from Portland get out to visit the forest. Recreating these habitats, along with the day use areas, gives citizens of the city a haven, a day of respite. To smell the forest, and hear the creek. It is a lot of money, but what is created in the end will be truly priceless.
  • Yep, Columbia moving logs. Great job! They have been doing work like this for many years!
