As you will see in the video, a combination of minimum delay and maximum sensitivity can cause the darkening feature to "flash" from a desk lamp - it may seem problematic as you watch, but it's actually a testament to how sensitive the mask can be.
Later in the video I demo the mask outdoors with a live welding demo. The mask quickly darkens for the duration of the welds and returns to a lighter view soon after the weld is over.

A very good welder told me you don't buy a £20 helmet, you only have one pair of eyes. Must admit the components look the same as in many helmets
