Welcome aboard! Join us for our second week at sea. ⛵️ In this video, we show you the good, the bad, and the mundane moments of life underway- what it’s REALLY like to sail across the Pacific Ocean- from Panama to French Polynesia. We navigate through storms, cross the equator, tend to our provisions, whale watch, and make some repairs.

Knowledge of what you’re doing while also having a well qualified vessel such as the catamaran you two have should be enough to get the two of you across any body of water. Right ? Absolutely! 😊
  • Well certainly lots happening. Glad to see some sailing time as I know you want to be off the engines. Congratulations on crossing the equator . The food prep clearly is going well. I love the excitement as you reach goals. Be safe always

Excellent passage video! I really enjoy watching the day to day things that go on that make this kind of voyage possible… Thank you and cheers from Anacortes.

  • @HopeOfJoe
Great episode guys ‼️ 🎉 😊 Seems like only minor chafe/ wear-n-tear not to mention great attitudes unlike some other crossings I've watched. Love it. Looking forward to the next episode..........Soooooo, we'll see you next time. ✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝️ 👙 🌞 ✨
  • Remember that squalls were invented to wash your boat for free. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  • @RNVOS
Looking great you two! ❤ from 🇨🇦 BC
  • @5:44 Ray, why didn't you just use the pressure washer against the attacking birds! Now were getting somewhere LOL! It'd be like that old game Missile Defense!
  • Hi guys! @3:55 I've heard that buying rubber snakes and putting them all over the boat can deter birds. I love the jack line idea though! Yaaaaa! LOL!
  • @chadconnor356
I like the rubber shock absorber on the preventer. I hate hearing it bang from time to time and that will solve it. Best part is I have a few extras on board and will do that shortly. Safe travels. It would also be great if you could give us the miles traveled each day report. We are crossing next year and it would be great to see reality before we take that adventure

Tradition states you must thank Neptune and ask for his blessing when crossing the equater.
  • I've never tried dried beans. I live in Fl and moisture is a problem, i use regular white rice in my salt, and other seasonings that turn sticky.it works well. Wondering if you have used rice and the beans work better? Another great video! Thx for sharing the fon! Bummer about the parts failure. Prayers your way!
