If you already have this much to say about one piece in just 10 episodes I can’t wait to see what you think of the rest of them
  • @robobo1726
I can't believe this guy hasn't watched more than 10 episodes. He's nailed the whole feel of the story completely
  • My wife and I are in our mid 40’s We can’t go to bed without watching 3-4 episodes of this show we discovered 2 months ago. We’re halfway through.
  • Loving the series after 10 episodes AND not knowing any spoilers 🤯 Can’t imagine emotions you will get having first time experience of watching it, so happy for you man

Me, a major One Piece fan since the start: tears up Ladies and Gentlemen, we got 'em
  • What's wild is that every One Piece fan warns people that it starts really slow but hang in there and it'll get better. For me I got definitively hooked in the mid 30s for episodes. It's really only in retrospect that the beginning feels slow. Because the scope just gets so big. It really is the best story ever told in my completely biased opinion.
  • It's been roughly a week or so & I've gotten to episode 84 now. I can't stop. It's too good. URGH WE CAN'T SAVE OURSELVES. MANAGED ONE DAY WITHOUT IT AND NOW I'M UUUUUUURRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-

I started watching one piece around 4 months ago, got hooked so quick and now I’m at around episode 670. Safe to say it is the best thing I’ve ever watched
  • One of the best ways I’ve heard it described is that the plot doesn’t happen to Luffy, Luffy happens to the plot. And you hit that nail on the head. Hope you enjoy your journey!!

For the love of god, PLEASE continue to share your experience as you watch One Piece. Even if it is without your wonderful personality filled illustrations, if you need to lessen the work load. Very excited to witness your journey in whatever medium you choose! Edit: Also, beware of spoilers!
  • Oda also continues the story lines of side characters and past villains in form of drawing a snippet of their current adventure in the title page of each chapter.
  • This is a person that sees a show with his eyes/heart and not his ass, amazing. He's nailed the whole feel of the story completely. Some people are so used to see a show with more than 24 ep having a stroke and think that all will be boring filling. that they forget that this show is a lively breathing world expanding and its an amazing and fun adventure.

Oda has a way to make us remember the characters, their own distinct LAUGHTER.
  • @PoG_Actual
Bro...YOU GOT IT IN TEN EPISODES!!! As it goes on, the crew continues to grow both in size, power, and and development. Then add in awesome antagonists, thats why this show is awesome! Enjoy the journey nakama!
  • I think you got the show pretty well in such few episodes. One Piece NEVER stops getting better and better. It’s quite impressing!

I don't know why, but I get some deep sense of euphoric joy whenever I watch someone discover the One Piece for what it really is, a story. Oda is such a good mangaka and has done such an amazing job on this masterpiece, I'm glad you appreciated it after so few episodes, and I hope you're still enjoying the ride.
  • "Wow, this show moves fast." Oda packs as much story into every chapter as he possibly can, which is why it is so ridiculous that the series is as long as it is. There's always something new to discover and so many little details crop back up and get developed in greater depth in the future. There's nothing else like it in the world!
  • What you don't know about the fandom is... We really don't care if your new or old. We welcome you with all our hearts and wish you an exciting adventure!! Enjoy it at its fullest fellow nakama!!
  • I'm so excited for you!!! My husband got me on this about ten years ago lol. We took a big break in the middle at one point but it took us about ten years to get through it all. We actually switched over to reading the manga at one point - highly recommend that too! We're all caught up now and experiencing stuff with the rest of the world has been super fun. I definitely have a hard time recommending it since it's just SO LONG but it's also just so very very very good. Enjoy your journey!
  • I still remember almost 20 years ago how impressed I was... The art style was something so different from everything I have seen before. Also, it escapes that "main character fights the big enemy, gets defeated, train and come back again to win". In One Piece, the fights are decided there, there are no loses and come backs. This eventually happens, but has some strong meaning and are necessary for the story telling, not a resource to fill lack of creativity.
