A very rare speech by Steve Jobs, talking about Toy Story and its making. A brilliant interview from the master once again.

And mostly proud about Pixar is they aren't like Disney who copying another another animated movie out there especially from DreamWorks movie without being honest where did they inspired from. In other words, Almost all the animated movie that made by Pixar are made by their own idea based on their own imagination too. Most of them are not even based on the myth novel or book story. Even if their story are similar with another animated movie, they've been honest and being open about what are they inspired and influenced from. For example, they being open about their influenced of some Japanese animation studio(I forgot the name) to make an animated movie. Such a genius and so honest.
  • Steve's talk is very historical about animation, I like especially Disney-movies, how they are made is very classy.

Does anyone know when in '95 Steve gave this talk? It's interesting how some of the sound effects in the clips he presented are different in the final release of the film.
  • The first 5 minutes of the clip is like the teaser trailer of Disney's Dinosaur.
